About Adam Skrdla
Hi there — I’m Adam Skrdla, and I’m the proud (and most times tired) owner of a small Nubian goat dairy here in north-central Nebraska.

I grew up right here near Stuart, Nebraska, surrounded by the sights and sounds of my family’s Holstein dairy cows and beef cattle ranch. Back then, I never imagined I’d be back in my hometown — let alone milking dairy animals again. Life has a funny way of circling back, though, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

From Holsteins to Nubians
As a kid, dairy chores were just part of life — early mornings, feed buckets, the rhythm of milking, and the endless work that comes with caring for animals. When dairy was dismantled and the cows were sold, I thought I’d left all that behind. But somewhere along the way, I realized those long days had planted something deeper — a love for hard work, for connection to the land, and for the honest satisfaction that comes from producing something delicious.

When I first met my Nubian goats, I was hooked. Their curious personalities, long floppy ears, and rich, creamy milk were a whole new kind of joy. What started as a small registered herd quickly became a full-time passion.

What We’re About
Here on the farm, we focus on raising healthy, happy goats and producing high-quality milk the old-fashioned way — by hand, with care, and with respect for the animals and land that sustain us. Our Nubians aren’t just livestock — they’re a reminder that good things take time, and that sometimes the best places in life are the ones we return to.

Full Circle
It’s funny to think that the kid who once couldn’t wait to leave the dairy now starts each morning the same way — with the sound of milk hitting the pail and the soft bleats of goats greeting the sunrise.

Coming back home wasn’t part of the plan, but it’s turned out to be the best chapter yet.

Welcome to our farm — I’m glad you’re here.
