WOEST-HOEVE AT PHAEDRA

Phaedra came to us by happenstance from the same herd that brought us Captain, Quarter Mile Nubians in Michigan. The moment I saw Phaedra's listing I knew we needed to try to add her to the herd. She arrived one evening from the back of a transport minivan and has pulled at our heart strings ever since. She kidded for the first time in 2025 with large twins, a buck and doeling, both have been retained. These two were so large it made for some difficulty when a leg was back on the first kid. Although the kids were healthy Phaedra ended up with a secondary infection from the manual extraction of the first kid. However, has made a smashing recovery and is looking better than ever with her body filling out. Not that I would pick favorites, but if I did, Phaedra would be right at the top of the list with her easy going demeanor and overall friendliness. On top of that, she can really put milk in the bucket. We are so very excited to see what 2026 has in store for Phaedra. Hopefully more doelings are headed our way from this stunning beauty.

SG WOEST-HOEVE FM APEX
5*M
86-VEV
Apex is an amazing goat. Not only has she been awarded the SG denotation for superior genetics and her milk star, but as a first freshener her one and only appraisal was 86-VEV. She has seen the inside of a show ring and has received the following awards:
2019 ADGA National Show 9th place Yearling Milker
2022 ADGA National Show 6th place 4 Year Old
2023 ADGA National Show 15th place 5 & 6 Year Old
2024 ADGA National Show 11th place Five & Six Year Old
Her accolades certainly speak for themselves and illustrate why we are so smitten by Phaedra and her progeny.

IRON-OWL PVT TIMPANOGOS
*B
No Appraisal
Timpanogos was born in 1998, therefore this pairing was possible through AI. I was not able to track down much information about Timpanogos, but I can confirm the following information. Timpanogos was appraised at a 87-V+E. Although he did not have a + or * denotation listed we are very happy with the genetics he has passed on to Phaedra. Where he may not be the show awarded buck we are glad to have his genes still at work in our herd today.
